New Place Studios is built to cover a project end to end, rather than handing pieces off between vendors. Depending on what a project needs, that can mean:
Pricing isn't final on either sheet below — every number is a starting estimate. Actual pricing depends on scope, timeline, and how much work a project actually requires, and gets finalized together before anything's booked.
À la carte rates for shoots, editing, and motion design — for one-off needs.
Retainer-style packages for brands and creators who need ongoing content.
Yes. A non-refundable deposit is due at signing to secure your booking, with the remaining balance due upon project completion, prior to final delivery. No filming or editing begins until the deposit is received.
Projects with post-production work include a set number of consolidated revision rounds — moving from structural/directional feedback, to refinement, to final polish. Additional rounds beyond that are available and billed separately.
Anything outside the originally approved scope or creative direction — new concepts, additional shoot time or locations, extra deliverables, or re-editing already-approved work. Scope changes require written approval before we proceed, and are priced based on how much of the project they affect.
If you need to cancel, the deposit is non-refundable, and cancellations within 72 hours of the scheduled production date require full payment. If we have to cancel due to an emergency, everything you've paid is refunded, and we'll do what we can to help you find a replacement.
It depends on the project, but we'll give you an estimated turnaround up front. Timelines can shift based on how quickly you're able to give feedback, revision requests, scope changes, or anything outside our control — deadlines are flexible unless we've agreed otherwise in writing.
Clear creative direction before we start, timely feedback during the process, any necessary location permissions or talent releases, and one point of contact to keep things moving. Slow feedback is the most common thing that pushes a delivery date back.
